 Five starsFun afternoon reading.

Living in Las Vegas, it is always fun to find a book that makes me feel like I am right inside the stories. So, reading “Tales From the Silver State II” with people, places and things found in my everyday life, here in Las Vegas, provided me with extra reading fun.The short story “Finding Billyniceguy”, by Barbra Wolfe, explores a personal account of a warm, cheerful and savvy women in her 50’s as she encounters online dating. The character shares the good, the bad and the ugly of her dates. Some scary, some funny and some …well read the story you will like the ending.I would recommend this story for a fun read as well as good advice to anyone considering online dating. There is an approach the character takes to start her journey which would be well explored by anyone wanting to try their luck at “Finding Billyniceguy”.

Five stars Something for everyone

How fun to read stories from local Las Vegas authors, but to be sure, these are very talented people. The writing is excellent. Each story is unique and interesting and shares a different point of view. Loved “Finding Billyniceguy” by Barbra Wolfe which takes you on a fun and fascinating tour of online dating. If you are into sailing, or really even if you are not, “The Sailing Quest” by Craig Ruark is well done. There is sure to be something to please everyone in this anthology of short stories. Try it.

In this impressive collection of short stories, one stood out to me. Barb Wolfe’s “Finding Billyniceguy” was a great read. For a new author, Ms. Wolfe showcased her talent in this short story. She “had me” from the opening sentence, her transitions were flawless, and it was a very entertaining tale. You will surely be entertained by this book.

A comment from Karen Haley-Dumas on Facebook 03/17/15:If you haven’t read Finding Billyniceguy yet, you need to get it!!! It was sharp and witty and any woman who’s EVER dated, will relate!!!

This is Just the Beginning

Finding Billyniceguy is just the beginning of many stories and books to come. I thank Richard Warren for putting the Tales from the Silver State II anthology together. It was a painless way to become officially published.
